So I'm finally setting up my 180 dimensions are 48x30x30. With the over flow box on one of the sides.
Give me some ideas on decor.
I like simple and natural. Stock will be ck, 3pbass, and a few polys. Possibly a ray in the near future.
I'm gunna use black sand for substrate but I want it to be really interesting bc its goin to be in.my living room. So go wild guys. My living room has blues in it so I might add a few blue stones to make it seem like a part of the room.

get a large piece of manzanita wood and anchor it near the overflow and maybe wire up some live plants to it so it looks like a tree, and imo i wouldnt add the blue stones, looks unnatural.

That tank looks nice. I have a few pieces of manz I am thinkin of using. I know what you mean by the blue stones. But I am goin to try to make it natural. Do you think a blue back ground would be good? I'm thinkin a black back will be a little too much with the black sand.

i think the blue back will be ok, i agree with the manz, that'll look nice, maybe stack some boulder like rocks near the back?

I kind of want a place that my polys can chill and feel safe too.

I'm gunna paint the back a gray blue color. And use black sand. I need to get the tank up so I can play with a few designs. I had hoped to get a few pictures of some tanks to get some ideas from....
