Vittatus ATF River Monsters Episode

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
is jeremy running out of river monsters? he redoes some fish featured in previous episodes and ventured into ocean one time. nice fishes by the way on this 2nd episode, saw a mormyrid, some sort of big catfish and also an odoe! :D

I think he's not running out of river monsters, he's rather running out of places to fish at. I mean if we exclude sturgeons, 80% of the world's monster fish live in the Amazon, Mekong or Congo river basins. ;)

well, peewee had me thinkin. even the last episode was just a recap on his main catches. I'm wondering what's going to happen because he chose only to venture out and film freshwater fish. that in itself eliminates a lot of other species

i would say i'd find it hard to believe that these fish would school like a pirhana, however with all the baitifish they may come together for mutual benefit, like sharks, dolphins, and birds attacking baitballs in the ocean .... i will also say, however, that my tigers seem to get agitated and rialed up when food gets in the water and for a while after, which is def a pirhana trait so who knows, anything is possible

Nobody mentioned Tigerfangs and his group. It was surrounded by controversey. He raised a group of VATF I believe a half dozen. One was an oddball it grew and looked different. People mocked him for thinking it was a GATF. Low and behold that was one of if not the first GATF in the hands of a hobbyist.Think that was about 5 years ago. I believe the conclusion was they need more then a 8x3. Thought I remember his group always being together pacing the tank.

I know I'm definetly gonna try to keep them in a group.... Just hope they can coexist with rays longterm.

from what i have seen they should do fine. the rays tails may attract their attention though.
