Thanks man! Out of the whole batch, i got one fader that is showing red coloration already. Not sure if I want to use him though. We'll see, still have a long way in the making.

Sweet, Im debating on throwing my hat into the rt breedind ring. Currently overun by various batches of flowerhorn fry. But I have a female carpintis escondito, if i come across a really red -red devil ill try them out. I also have a brute shortbody escondito fh x male that I will try with if he is fertile. Im really interested to see how these fry turn out,

Im on long island in new york, my female is only 5 inches and easily spooked how big is the devil. I guess your in cali with all the other fish lovers lol.

My RD isn't part of my RT project. He was just one of my first cichlids before I started the project. I like the Midas body shape over the RD bady shape, But I'm using a KKP for the project. Thanks for the drop though. I'll keep yall updated on the project. Enjoy!
