To the guy who said Oddball does nothing but whine - maybe if you quit whining you'd notice how much he helps people on MFK. Probably more than any one person can recall. I'd be a bit pissed if I spent as much time on here as he did trying to keep things running smoothly and had to deal with people constantly stepping in my wet cement, too. I dont think you have a right to criticize, if that is your idea of a worthy contribution to this thread.
And to whoever said it - no kissing up to the mods seems to be necessary. Just behave like you would in mixed company, with children, proper men and women, and you'll be fine.
As for me, I have been slipping on here with my behavior a bit lately too, and I know some of my posts have been the subject of deletions/clean-ups and I got an infraction last week, and frankly that's just me taking time away from mods helping people, and I am sorry for that, I will try my best to shape up and contribute as best and as cleanly as I can.
MFK is a great site, even though we all have our ups-and-downs here, we've all met some great people and learned some great things. Why dont we stop pretending MFK and its staff owe us something, and just act civil?

We'll I actually considered making the comment about whining in the last thread I had personally seen him post in. I decided it was too soon, but since I saw it again I decided to make the comment. I like the way you turned it around on me about whining. I appreciate it. Go ahead and keep sucking up to the mods. I don't care.
Anyways I shouldn't have probably responded to your post. The thread has moved on from there. Try and keep up. Oddball was the one to get back on topic of profanity. Since you want to suck up to him you should really try to do as he asked.

Pretty much this. I read the whole thread. I just thought you (aaronb) were trolling and trying to get a rise out of people and no one called you on it. And it's not called "sucking up", it's called, the mods spend hours of every day on here trying to keep it informative and appropriate for all levels and ages of the community, and if you dont like it, then man up, be mature, and leave. Dont stay here and complain. That's disrespectful to the mods and to everyone else on MFK. And no one is agreeing with you. You just look immature. Since you seem to really like picking fights, I'd probably just agree with Arthur... you may as well not be here. I wont miss ya, although maybe someone out there will, who knows...
I don't know if it's trolling as much as it's a holier than thou attitude. Either way you're right about picking fights and slinging insults constantly. "I don't mean to offend you but..."
Aj, the mods can speak for themselves. I know you're a bright young man but they don't need a 16 year old standing up for them.

They don't let you close your account on here even if you want to. If I'm in the minority that's fine that's just an observation I've made. If you don't think there are some hypocritical mods you're kidding yourself.
There's a sticky of someone asking why some closed threads continued to get post counts. A mod closed it and then a few mods continued posting smart remarks just to show they could. A closed thread should be a closed thread. How is that not hypocritical.
Anyways say what you want. I'll do the same. Like I said oddball wanted the thread back on topic. I may have pushed it off topic at first. I did has he asked. You specifically disregarded what he asked which could arguably be worse. Welcome to the club.
I don't necessarily think it's a holier than thou attitude. I'll have an opinion. You can have yours of me or whoever. We might not agree and would probably tell eachother. That's just how it is.
