It could be parasites but more then likely just habbit. If you water is clean and everything in check you shouldnt be worried! Mine do loops through dw now they got very skilled at it, rb piranha.

I notice white spots on my Bass this morning! So Ich is the reason for there weird behavior. I added Melafix to treat the Ich.

Bro, melafix will do jack for the ich. Increase temp to 86 degrees, and dose with aquarium salt. Check out the sticky on salt use in the disease area. It will explain benefits & dosage.
