U said google it, because you cant back up your arguement. You have some harrassment that frankly is rare. You have nothing else.

It should be up to that person to train themselves. Never the gov. You already mentioned one example of a permit gone ary. Need I say more?

I never once said anything about the government training us, just because I said proper that doesnt mean the government steps in my argument.

If you want more answers, I said Google it, but I forgot, you dont like people telling you what to do, my bad for overlooking that. I only posted an example or two, I didnt want to give you a laundry list because I thought you would get what I'm trying to say but apparently thats not the case.

You have your thoughts, I have mine, we can go on and on with this.

Yes, unfortunately there’s a list of fish that cannot be kept here in AZ. Also we have very high sales tax, second or third in the nation. But housing is very cheap, there’s lots of jobs and 9 months out of the year the weather is nice.

Heh, here in OR we have no sales tax, no jobs, and 9 months out of the year the weather is rain.

But we can keep stingrays!

I think you all are overlooking what I'm trying to say, I never said anything about the government in telling me I can or cant. I just said folks need training, I left proper out this time, maybe that word is confusing people by saying proper means the government. Folks need to be trained in some way, shape or form.

We just had a member on here that gives classes, etc...Seems like he has been doing this for sometime but yet again, people dont trust them because they say they dont know everything or are OFTEN wrong... Give me a break, and I'm guessing the person that pointed this out does know everything??

Im pretty sure it was obvious to 99% of people who read my post what I ment. I am,against gov require training wether that be through requirements that we go through thier approved facility(which means the gov is teaching u) or the gov themselves doing it. So yes the gov does step in. you encourage gov intervention and I dont.

Im pretty sure it was obvious to 99% of people who read my post what I ment. I am,against gov require training wether that be through requirements that we go through thier approved facility(which means the gov is teaching u) or the gov themselves doing it. So yes the gov does step in. you encourage gov intervention and I dont.

Egon, Slow down. All I was saying is basic Gun handling safety, not laws and libality. I have a background in Special operations, and im also NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, and i carry a gun for a living. What I know and what I teach are not the same. All I was trying to say was basic safety should be required, Period. Im not saying big brother should tell you when to wipe, or what to do. Just simple safety training, with some live fire time to give people who have no experience some. Cardinal rules go a long way, unless you do not know them. You would not believe how many people come to my classes and have no idea about basic cardinal rules of safety. States have different laws, you want to discuss laws, call an attorney. I teach safe gun handling. Basic stuff. Cleaning, ammo, parts / breakdown, functions, fundamentals, storage....... Basic stuff. Whats common sense or basic to you may not be the same to all. Lots of innocent people have been injured or killed because of someone else not safely handling a firearm. Be safe.
