Well here is a great pic of my guy after vacation. Can anyone help identify? He's looking great IMO! These guys are eating well, growing well, and have tons of personality. Looking to upgrade the tank in a month or so to a 250g for just my 2 bass. Here he is:

These fish have proven to be quite difficult for new fish keepers. I don't claim to be experienced at all, but I have read a lot on them and have read countless threads on here to help me out. I told you to be careful, they're very fragile as babies. My best advise is if you can't afford the equipment needed for these guys, like larger tanks, trusty heaters, adequate filtration, you may want to switch to a more hardy fish for a bit. I had a bass in a healing 20g tank for a short time only because he was small and needed some meds. I would not suggest a 20g "grow out" for 4-5 of these guys. One will out grow it in 2 weeks. Get yourself one, maybe 2, and a 55+ for the time. Remember this will not suffice come a few months and will require a much larger tank. I've had mine in the 55 since they were no longer than an inch. That was less than a month ago. 4-14 was when I started the topic and I started it 3 days after I bought them. You can see how large they get in a short period of time. Slow it down, and make sure you are as knowledgeable as possible before proceeding. Ask all the questions you have. The guys here are very helpful. I sifted threw pages of topics reading about these guys. This place is full of information

Get a new heater ASAP and raise the temp to 83-87. Ick can't live in that temp. I think someone above posted they keep theirs at 87 until 10 inches.

Thanks for the compliments!
