I normally just get a mouthful water when i do that too careless. I guess its better to use that mehod not wih small fish in the tank.

Put the main part of the hose in the tank, with the hole facing up. Let it fill up all the way then jerk it out of the tank. Let the water drain half way out of the main part and then quickly put the hose back in the water. The force of the draining water will start the suction again.

X2, don't post something like this and not expect people to laugh at you....

My question is, when you felt something clogging the flow, why didn't you check and see what it was? That's what I would have done, but then again you would have to use logic for that.
 
Its like LBF all over again...do you post videos of your self singing songs on YouTube as well?
