thanks again guys! Best time to get them use to pellets is now. Also, the trick to getting them to eat pellets is early in the morning when they are on a empty stomach. All it takes is a few to eat before you know it they are all grabbing some

I never thought about that approach... I'll have to give it a whirl. I'm in the process of weening my two off live.

Just an update I'm quite happy with how they are taking pellets. they are strictly on pellets now . A few of them are still adjusting to this but sooner or later they will love it! Haven't lost any so far and are growing daily. Biggest one is about 1.5 inches already!

Did I read that right? They were in a 40g tank? That's amazing since I thought they needed more room than that especially to spawn.

They were bred in my 150 gallon tank and the babies are kept in my 40 breeder. Shoot me a PM
