How Far would You go for your beloved Pet??

I love pugs they are some of the greatest pets you could ever own despite all of their problems. English bulldogs are the same way. Designer mutts like puggles are a whole different story and you couldn't pay me to own one.

At least we agree on that part.

I would do what ever i could for my dog..than gain if it was my dog my ex would not of taken it for any reason...^_^ my dog is way to codependent at 11, no one would want to deal with the crazy mess that dog would be with out me ^_^ iv had her sens she was 4 weeks old.

I particularly care for the practice of breeding dogs that have numerous health problems, especially the more serious ones, not to mention that pedigreed pugs are some of the most inbred dogs out there which also is probably why they have these health problems since defective offspring weren't culled. Any who, this doesn't particularly pertain to the main idea of the thread, so I digress...

100% agree with you. Just going to lead to degenerative breeds because care isn't taken to widen the gene pool with better/healthier genes.

Pah, I'd take it. I don't care what the court says. When your emotionally attached to something, you will do anything to get that something back. Money doesn't matter and in no way compares to a any sentinents life. There is no amount of money I could be offered for me to consider giving up my dogs/cats (has happened multiple times).

Oh thank god it wasnt him.

Although, I admire this guy a hell of a lot. Not many people would sacrifice that much for an animal companion. I do feel for the wife though... cant imagine losing my dog to the law.

That dog is worth more than 60,000 to that man you could not walk up and buy my doge EVER ive been offered 2,500 for my female pitbull i payed 20$ from my friends mom.Have you ever been emotionally attached to a animal or did you get into pet keeping as an adult?and just have not have been able to develop that thing called compassion

Totally agree, our pets are like members of the family. Wouldn't a father do anything he possibly could for his child?

i would have just used the 60000 and hired many people to break into her house and take the dog back. no one would know.

im sure someone would do it for only 500 and comparing a dog to a child is out of the question the guy that paid that is probably a millionaire so that money dont mean nothing to him
