Haha that's funny when I keeps catching big sunnies while everybody at the public area dont catch anything.

^^^ right??? some of the death glares I get are absolutely hysterical... There were probably 20 people fishing, I landed 18 my buddy got 8 or 9 and nobody else on the entire pier caught anything... not even a little 2-3"er.. but I guess that's why the bigger fish are around, they stick closer to structure and most people are casting out in to open water!
Or use bobbers out in the fast currents doesn't help them very much. This popular spot has a culvert and the eaters (bass, walleyes, perch, sunfish etc) always hang out in the currents wait for the foods coming to them. But yeah I have lot of people give me the death glares and even cussed at me. The real trick is......I dont use a bobber! LOL
hahaha yeah... i do pretty well out there without a bobber but on certain pylons based on depths i will use one, the difference is i set mine so my bait is 5 or 6 feet down and theres is about 12-18" below the surface 
Have a couple of busy weeks behind me,with a lot of schoolwork and not a lot of time to fish.
I gave up on carpfishing after trying a few more times,Even tryed the methods masterB used but nothing worked.
Since Perch,Zander or Pikefishing is still illegal till upcoming saturday I decided to go after some bream.
Although bream have about the same feeding habits as carp and the same behaviour,they are more common and way easier to catch.
This also comes with the fact that bream just can't seem to put up a good fight,It's like reeling in a wet towel.
Caught the breams on different locations,all of the pics are from 16inch+ bream with 2 specimens being over 20 one at 21 and one and 23.
All fish where caught on sweet corn.

Yeah carp love it,sadly everbody out here know that,so carp are very suspicious when you fish with corn.
BTW: Going out to a local pikewater tommorow,set up camp and start fishing saturday at 4.00am till 6pm.
Probably doing the same thing sunday.
Expecting to catch at least 20Pikes total.
