Here's a pic of my setup... 135gal (72x18x24) with a 48" freshwater bright fixture. It's a bit brighter in person but I feel the pic captures the actual light intensity pretty accurately for the most part. My water is stained with tannins from the driftwood so that cuts down the light a bit as well.

Love the look of that tank. I think it's so cool that you can do real subtle lighting with these or if you like it brighter like me you can achieve that as well.

Im gonna pick up a couple and try them out on a few tanks probably mixed with some other lighting

I left my t8's on for few days with the Led's. I never really liked the combined look. When I finally took them off it looked so much better. I guess it was the drastic difference in bulb color though.

I just ordered the 48" double bright for my 90 gal. and I should have it tomorrow. I purchased it on EBAY for $120(about $100 less than marineland version). I will post up when up and running, my concern is LEDs burning out so keep us updated........ Congats on the new baby!

Thanks! Please do post pics. Any reason for the double bright? Like live plants ect...or do you just want a brighter tank? Just curious.
