i will be following your thread. i am about to start a 300 gallon build and am planning on using the max acr too.

what is the thickness of the plywood for your tank? also how bout glass?

Glass is 1/2 plate. Plywood is marine grade 3/4 special ordered threw home depot 55$ per sheet.
On another note tear down of the old tank 500 gallon has started today it'd going to be a royal pain getting this 800+ pound thing upstairs.
Some people asking why I sold a 500 for a plywood 400, well I need a better footprint and have an idea for new type of filtration I want to try. Also I wont mind downsizing a little bit.
Fish will be kept in a 20$ kiddie pool (im nervous as hell about the idea but I couldn't justify spending $150+ on something ill only use for a month tops
