Rate my Green Terror/ Gold Saum!

I see, well right now I feed him once-twice a day with the occasional 3x a day. I feed them NLS, Omega One shrimp pellets, Hikari Cichlid Bio-Gold + and a little bit of algae wafers. I might start feeding them a monthly treat of feeders once they get bigger. Starting next month I'd like to start adding in fresh veggies as well to the diet, I hope they'll bite. I had no luck with them eating freeze dried stuff so I'll just avoid that for now. Thanks for sharing your thoughts once again!!I wouldnt up his portion unless your only feeding him a couple times a week. I fed mine once a day until 5 inches then slowed it down to 3 times a week. What i ment when i said he was thin was how thick he is if he at 4-5 inches. I have owned 2 Gold Saums and by the time they hit 5 inches there body started getting thick, but that could be the camera angle on the fish too. I not sure what u do feed him but a varity diet helps alot. As for me i feed my Hikari gold pellets, Omega one pellets, omega veggi tablets, aglae waffers, peas, frozen krill, frozen blood worms, frozen shrimp and frozen emerald entree. I just rotate the food so he is always getting something differant.By the way i like the FTS, looks good.

Thank you bro! He attacks the glass ferociously now if I put my hand/face next to the glass! I'm not sure if he's a short body or not but he definitely looks healthy.
I have been thinking of upgrading for a while, most likely it will be the same footprint but taller

I would give yours a 7 for how he is right now. Colors look great! I'm not liking his head to body ratio however, he looks skinny(underfed?) but that's just me. Dorsal fin is nipped and the band of orange in caudal fin could be wider. Once he bulks up and gain some size I'm sure he'll look even better! Sorry I'm strict like that, but reasonable

No it's cool man. He has had that nipped fin since I bought him when he was a baby. Is there anything I can do/feed him to get that orange on his fin more? I just started feeding him massivore pellets. What are ur suggestions on that. I was told that those pellets will get him to bulk up more?
