The epoxy only has to cure for 48 hours before silicone can go on for the window so ill be putting glass in tomorrow after work, I was planning on using GE I silicone for the glass because I have access to it locally and I haven't found any dow locally. Does anyone have any doubt in the GE? I have used it on my last tanks with success but I know this epoxy could be different

Since it's glass the GE will work fine :)

Thanks! I wasn't worried about the GE sticking to the glass I was worried about it sticking to the epoxy but i really don't see why it wouldnt. In that case glass really should be going in tomorrow as long as I can find someone to help me drop it in place lol

Getting it done fast. Good work. I am waiting for primer to dry myself then onto paint and trim then building my stand. It's a race to see who finishes first.

Great build bro.
The only thing I don't like is the bead of silicone you have applied; it seems a little thin for my liking

There is 2 different beads there and il going to do a fillet joint around the outside of the glass but I do agree with you as soon as we dropped the glass in I noticed a couple spots I wish I would have put more silicone

before you put your finishing bead in i found that if you attach a drinking straw to the tip of the calking tube you can get this under the glass and inject more silicone. i had to do that on my last build because i ended up with a section with no silicone and is sealed it up good
