Single green Texas in a 55gal ?

Will a single 6-7in green Texas do ok in a 55 gal ? No plans for any tank mates just the single fish

Herichthys cyanoguttatus. They are the only native cichlid in TX. H. caprintis is often called "green Texas" but isn't found in TX. They are two completely different sp., but some people disagree on this site.
