PLEASE- make sure when you make a sale that you are not selling to someone that does not know what they are doing. This kid is a ticking time bomb for whatever state he is in. If he gets bit because someone sold him a bunch of atrox then I am willing to bet that there will be a crackdown and much tougher regulations! WE NEED TO POLICE OURSELVES! just because you can make a quick buck off a 12 year old does not mean you should. Think about it.

although you could say the same about him- but i wont get into that.

Haha, I was actually talking to someone about this recently. I think he is too showy to be truly grounded on the advocacy side that he's claiming to be on. I understand that he may be well experienced but the message that is being received by those who are learning about venomous snakes and their care - I do not feel positively about it. Even as a person who's never kept anything hot, front nor rear - I can tell you what he is doing wrong and that he's careless/showboating.

I like his taste in snakes and I also enjoy his ****-faced grunt talks that come across as somewhat comical. As an entertainment figure I'm a big fan.

To those who are not familiar with Viperkeeper on youtube

Balls of steel or not, he is way too comfortable around that King Cobra, especially near the end,

i am in a few of his videos and have watched him handle snakes in person. I will just say that I was less than impressed.

There is always room for improvement with the keeping, handling, & selling of venomous snakes.

I follow the "Know its strike zone & stay out of it" rule as well as other ones that are common sense, e.g. no free-handling as well as only keeping snakes within my experience level. On the other hand, some people are less than responsible & do stupid stuff like, say, leave a two foot western diamondback rattlesnake (supposedly that's what it is) in a wooden box behind at their house when they move; as a result, I'm probably getting that rescue at least temporarily unless something changes.

Which videos are you in?
