because they were legit between 10 and 16" long haha.

nice snapper JD! learned to 'yak yesterday it was a lot of fun!

Got out for about an hour yesterday. It was almost 90 degrees and I just couldn't stay out there long. Got a little action though.

well the charter was a bit of a bust. the water was mud and very few fish to be found. the guide did his damndest to get us on some fish and we saw quite a few reds but couldn't get em to bite. my girlfriend's mom caught a really nice 20" speck and her dad caught a decent sized sting ray. Guide said if we come back down he will take us out again for the cost of gas so he can redeem himself, will most likely have to take him up on that!!

He was a mean little sob... tried to bite me a few times. I'm always shocked at just how far they can stretch their necks out when they want to.

I bet. Probably a bit like RTC's though. They can get pretty huge.

last off topic post, lol. Not too bad, but they do grow fast and get bigger than most turtles. Not as big as Alligator Snappers or anything though.
