I listen more to grunge and punk rock but I do like some metal. Pantera and Tool are up there, and my favorite metal band is Acid Bath.

Of course the clown in me loves Slipknot, hometown guys Lamb of God, Guns N Roses was my life's soundtrack from 7yrs to 27.. Angler I'm glad you said In Flames, anyone not knowing owes it to themselves to check out that band. I go all the way back through zep, doors, hendrix. I get down with srv, clapton, bb king, all the way back. I "bump" gangsta rap, 2pac, biggie, dmx is gold. I even get down with some classical believe it or not.

Nobody's mentioned zakk wylde. Gotta love some zakk wylde.

And lastly, I hear all the love for Dimebag... lets not forget DAMAGE PLAN!!! I LOVE damage plan... if you havn't heard any stop reading this, open a new window on your browser, go to youtube and find damage plan. You'll be glad you did. I'll even start you off.

Definitely a fan of all types of music. Mainly punk/indie rock stuff. I do have some metal on my mp3 player. Loved old Anthrax since about 8th grade. These days I listen to Norma Jean and Mastadon. My usual problem is the music is great but the vocals kill it for me. Instrumental bands like Iceburn, some Engine Kid, Pelican and Earth are great. Then there many border line metal punk bands that are aggressive I like, Jesus Lizard, Shellac, Snakes for Arms, Glassjaw, Don Caballero, Hot Snakes, Bad Brains, Good Riddance, etc.

I listen to all types of music depending on my mood, but the first CD I ever bought was the Black Album. Used to be able to see all the great bands as they went to Madison, and the way the venues were setup I got to meet quite a few of them after the shows-Disturbed, Mudvayne, Sevendust, Korn, Rob Zombie. There's nothing better than cooling down after a great show than by having a beer with the band.
