Ive always liked metal, I used to really like Metallica, Megadeth and the sort, lately Ive been into the band I feel started metal, the all mighty Black Sabbath!! Never knew metal was born in the 60s.

my favorites right now I'd say are Indricothere, Behold... The Arctopus, Gorguts (R.I.P., Steeve Hurdle), The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Ion Dissonance, Made Out of Babies, Julie Christmas and Battle of Mice (yeah, I like Colin Marston and Julie Christmas' bands a lot). Of course I like the classics like Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc.

Awesome! Glad to see so many of us are into intense music. My favorite 2 bands of all time are Tool, and Meshuggah. But I love lamb of god, opeth, mudvayne, as I lay dying, between the burried and me, the faceless, megadeath, pantera, through the eyes of the dead, slipknot, and now I can't remember unless I grab my ipod lol but its a very long list.

I do enjoy softer tunes too like led zeppelin (another all timefavorite band) red hot chili peppers and etc... basicly anything other than rap. Too many white boy wangsters in my town hahah

Love metal, and I manage a small doom metal band from Indiana called Thorr-Axe.

Top bands right now are High on Fire, Sleep, The Sword, Warning, Celtic Frost, Wryd, Wolves in the Throne Room, Darkest Hour, Belphegor, Bathory, Korgonthurus, Weakling etc you get the idea.
