Anyone use Single Bright Marineland LEDs?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Marineland has a guarantee as well, which helps. A lot of chain pet stores have good return policies, buy the marinelands, try them, if you hate them take 'em back.

Looks good, really like the BG too. Is there a way to run the day lights on a timer and have the moonlights on all the time or at least opposite the daylights, or is there one power cord and multiple switches?

Thanks and unfortunately, no. There is one switch (like the Marineland fixtures) Both On/Both Off/Blue On.

That's what I was afraid of, one of the main reasons why I haven't bought a new light yet. I like having everything on timers so I don't have to worry about it. Maybe I'll just buy one and rig up a secondary set of moonlights like I already have running.

Or run it on a timer and manually switch it to the moonlight when you want it on.

I switch mines manually to moonlight before I go to bed. There is a thread on a cichlid forum about a mod to separating the moonlight's from the daylights but you will void warranty.

I have a beamworks 48" on a 120g tank that is 24" tall and it lights it pretty well.
