i currently have 2 double bright on my 135. lights up nicely for fish only. the single bright isnt too far behind. if you like the darker look get the single. if you want it brghter get the double. not very good for plants. so its perfect for fish only. and the shimmer effect is nice. but u must have good surface movement to achieve the shimmering effect.
had it for 6 months and still look as bright as the day i bought it. only thing i dont like about the marineland are the moonlight on with the white lights. the blue kinda washes out the fish. i wish they had the white and pink combination like with the T5's which really brings out the colors with the pink/white combo
