I know you guys say scomb but hea definitely not scomb I've had plenty of tats and scomb this guys different tho. Hes really skinny and Hes About 8-9 inches, he was with some large bass so I had to save him, he's starting to show white on the tips of his fins as they are growing back, here's some newer pictures for reference, thanks guys

Damn guy won't stop moving! Impossible to get a good pic

he looks like a tat to me, doesnt have that meaty Armatus look to him, but i could be wrong, so dont consider this a positive ID, wait till others chime in... those are much better pics for IDing though, i believe

Yellow tail tat eh? Pretty badass and fairly rare from what I've seen over the years. They grow to full potential 18"? This guy was wild caught and imported at his current 10-12 inches will he continue to grow?

They are usually imported at larger sizes like this for some reason not sure why... They grow pretty slow but should get to a good size

Good stuff man thanks for the information, if I get any more oddballs in I'll pm you first :P probably import at larger size because they are mistaken for armatus, also will keep all posted on this guy, might be able to stomp that 12" dead tat myth in no time, and have the biggest tat on Mfk!! >:D Muahahaha!
