How do u change the water?

Alright so I tried it out with my 40g. Took out 20g and using my 5g bucket I put a capful of prime into the first bucket then I put that in the tank. Then refilled the rest with untreated tap water.

Is there anything wrong with what I did?

The capful of prime goes in the actual fish tank. I'm sure it worked out overall, but next time just put it in the tank.

Is there a difference if I put it in the tank directly rather than putting it in the bucket then putting it in the tank?

If I dose my 135 which currently has some salvini wrigglers will the prime affect the wrigglers?

If you want to do the bucket way then dose for the bucket each time. But the correct way is to dose the whole tank. It's what the directions say, not making this stuff up. Much easier to put in a capful of Prime and fill it up then to add a small amount to each bucket every single time.

It will not in any way harm any type of fish. Wigglers,juvies.adults....anything.

i have a 220 and i just drain the tank, dump more than enough seachem safe, then fill it with a hose straight into the tank, im lucky that my water has low amounts of chlorine so i dont worry to much, been doing it for about a year now and no ill effects.
