Thanks Tigercat. it's a Freshwater stonefish, aka freshwater lionfish, latin : Batrachus trispinosus

I've definitely heard of freshwater lionfish...pretty cool, slightly brackish, but awesome none the less. I considered one heavily before settling on my current roster. Nice gars! Marbled? Correct?

those are most likely Florida gar, there is no such thing as marbled gar!
