More Info to come, just doing some reach on climate, soil conditions and civil plumbing lines

Quick Update on the Depth --->

As stated before, the total Depth is 120cm (47.2 inches)
100cm's of that will be below the ground-level
20cm's of that will be above the ground-level, supported by the 80cm side-wall

Sounds good to me. What will you be making the above ground box portion out of? Also what will you be using to filter it?

Will update soon, as we are now aiming for a total depth of 160cm (1.6m)

Pond walls (including the section above the wall, will be done by brick)
Each will be 4 bricks thick, for added strength.

As yet, I am still confused as what to use for the base of the pond, most
places recommend a solid concrete slab?

Since you are using bricks as the walls you may need the concrete base to stop the brick walls from caving in. I don't know if you've looked around on this forum but I know a few people have done above ground ponds take a look at theirs and ask them some questions. Hope that helps

I'm actually quite blessed as far as the build is concern.

I have a father & a friend that are both willing to assist
me, they both have years working in the Civil Engineering field :)
They both suggested the concrete slab base, with 4-brick-wide walls.
They also mentioned something about redbar/rebars ... whatever that is lol

I also have an uncle in construction, but I haven't quite spoken to him yet lol :)

looks like its gona be an awesome pond. rebar is when they stick metal rods through the holes of the bricks then fill the holes with cement to give the wall extra strength.
