if you go for gold medals per country population china is pretty low. Great Britain is actually doing well in that count. USA is better than china, but not the best either.

Does anyone else feel like some gold medals are worth more than others? I would rate gymnastics higher than badminton for example, or table tennis.

China only brought in 396 athletes and the USA brought in 529 athletes to the London Olympic 2012 games. But even with a smaller number of athletes, China is still leading the medal count at this time.

China is garbage you have a billion people. It's safe to say you have a good size pool of children to select from.
