heading out in a little bit towards the coast for a nice headboat trip with my dad. hoping to put a keeper grouper on deck and maybe some mahi off the back if i get there early enough for a good spot.

Surf fishing out of Folly Beach South Carolina 5 minutes south of Charleston. Used Carolina rigs (ironic right) with live finger mullet I caught and made a decent catch of speckled trout. Figures I only took a picture of the smallest one but I caught them varying from 17"-24". Also caught the smallest pompano I've ever seen in my cast net. All of my fish were caught on the early half of high tide. I'm hoping tomorrow will bring some reds and flounder as well.

just caught this 42 pound flathead today! caught him in crabtree creek on a sunfish head. kinda weird for flathead to eat cutbait.
