I would LOVE a Mantis Shrimp lol, but I would put him in a tank on its own. I did end up getting more fish today though. I went with a Royal Gramma and a Red Scooter Blenny. I wanted the Gramma because they're really peaceful and are decently active compared to my old Damsels. The Red Scooter has awesome color and is more of a bottom dweller so my tank is more balanced.
Sooooo....

NEW STOCK LIST:
Royal Gramma (Gramma Loreto)
Red Scooter Blenny (Synchiropus Stellatus)
Scarlet Hermit Crab (Paguristes Cadenati)
Mexican Turbo Grazer Snail (Turbo Fluctuosa)
Astrea Snail (Astraea Tecta) [x2]

And I did decide that I will be upgrading tank size eventually. It will probably be a few months until I can get a new tank, but I predict it will be about 6 months give or take. I still prefer my Freshwater over Saltwater, so my new tank won't be any bigger than 75g or maybe a 90g. They both have a 48"x18" footprint, but the 90g is a bit taller.

Anyway. I will create a new thread on this setup in the Media Lounge. Let me know what you guys think!

P.S.: The Royal Gramma is about 1.75"-2" and the Red Scooter Blenny is about 1.25"-1.5"

i personally would return the scooter blenny, they aren't a true blenny they are dragonets like mandarins, they are extremely difficult to feed being that they only eat copepods, i had trouble keeping them in my 56 and haven't tried one since i upgraded to the 210 a few month back because i want the pods to grow out of control before i get one. they will pick at your rocks and look like they're eating but they just don't get enough. they will slowly wither away and die. you could buy copepods or live brine and see if they will eat that but your looking at high dollar food bills. i know it sucks but most awesome fish are awesomely difficult and picky.

personally i would get a bi color blenny and get some kick ass inverts like pom pom crabs, or a pair of harlequin shrimp.

what about a barnacle blenny or two..they get aroudn 2 inches max..and they are so cute my LFS has some in.

and those corals behind the blenny assuming thats at your LFS will grow fine under regular light. so you could throw some of them in there. especially those mushrooms they practically grow in the dark

Yeah, I was aware of them being Dragonets. A lot of Gobies, Blennies, and Dragonets are often referred to as one or the other (like the Mandarin Dragonets being labeled as Gobies). I have mine on frozen Brine Shrimp and he's eating real well so far. I may add some Copepods every now and then if I feel he needs them, but he has been going crazy over this frozen Brine so I will stick with it for a while.

I may add some kind of Inverts, but I just haven't came across any I like yet. The store I work at has regular Cleaner Shrimp and Coral Banded Shrimp, but I'd prefer something a bit more interesting. I like the Emerald Crabs we have, but as far as Inverts go, I would be leaning more torwards a Shrimp of some kind.

Those are pretty cool. Depending on how the Red Scooter does over the past few weeks I may get one of those considering they stay quite small. Decent pattern and coloration as well. I can't have anything too plain in this tank lol I want good color and good movement.

ok lol so I will for sure be leaning more torwards a Shrimp. (off the top of my head) My store has Peppermint Shrimp, Blood Red Shrimp, Cleaner Skunk Shrimp, and Coral Banded Shrimp. Any of those sound like good tank mates? I will only be getting one, MAYBE two.
