C.E......do cichla eat cichla?

They definitely are cannibals. I've lost a few when they err grown out and the was just 2" size difference. A 5" tem downed a 3" mono like it was a light snack

For real, how many people seen them eat there own kind? I dropped a 6" orino as a feeder,,....... Nothing!!!!
That's 24 hours later. My bass are 15"+.

So, are they cannibals?

Orino's are Bad-Asses, if that was a 6 inch Mono, it would be toast by now.

X2 I once tried introducing a 3.5" farmie to the 3 Orinos i had at the time and they looked like they were actively hunting the it. I ended up taking it to a friend's house it got so bad.
