hi,

I got this short body flowerhorn a 4 months back & i have been feeding it as advised by the shop keeper but for some reason i dont feel its growing although everyone at home tells me it grew a bit. I feeding it 2 kinds of pellets, one for head growth & the other for redness enhancement (both Ocean Free products) (see below) as well as blood worms. Its in a 32g tank and it shares it with 4 frontosa cichlids (2.5 inches) & a spotted gar (7 inches). Do i need to change the feeding or am i doing something wrong or it takes time??photo(11).JPG

Well i change it every 3 weeks, but usually drain out 1/4 of the water and couple of weeks after that i would replace a larger quantity of it.

The thing is that currently i haven't noticed any growth from any, whereas everyone keeps telling me that they grow fast.. :irked:

You gotta kick up wc to 2 x 50% a week or more, cause of the extremely small overstocked tank. My tank is overstocked and I get great growth rate but do 3x wc week

Great will try that, but is it true about their inside organs growing and them not and they would end up dying?? Coz thats the first time i hear such thing
