The connection from A to B was quite fairly made, you said his filtration was poorly designed, so in retaliation he shows the countless fish you have killed, slaughtered, murdered. (pick your descriptive word).
By doing this, it shows that a filter doesn't have to be perfect to keep fish alive... Water changes and stock level is often more important, especially if you cram 50 large fish in a relatively small glass box, doesn't really matter if you have the most efficient sump, you will be killing your fish by other means, which you are particularly good at it.
I have many fish still alive from my first tank 10 years ago, you can't keep many fish a month.
And that second part, you actually have the audacity to call his tank poorly designed? (and " empty" which I will ignore coming from you). Compared to what John? I doubt your tank and style of keeping would ever be considered appealing to watch.
The only thing going for you is the sheer amount of rare, expensive, large growing fish that you can brag about, but you kill so many that I'm quite surprised you have not been exiled from a forum that encourages the exact opposite of your fish keeping style.

You are getting to the root of the issue...hitting the nail on the head. We are on this site because we enjoy keeping fish. We share ideas and experiences keeping them...
When someone has a track record of killing/slaughtering/murdering so many fish over such a short period of time, I think we should question their practices. I think if he had done this with less expensive fish, he would have been run out of town long ago. But because he does this to rare, exotic, expensive species, people oooh and awww over them and completely ignore his failures.
In one of his threads, some guy actually suggested that he teach a seminar on how to keep fish?

Definitely agree with you there, but he has no problems criticizing people who successfuly care for their fish......now I see why........yikes!

I hope it is clear that I am not attacking him at this point. I am against his fishkeeping practices, not against him. He is a nice guy, but what he is doing is wrong.
