7"FL gar in pond with 12" koi??

gar do better in smaller aquariums when smaller sometimes if they are in too big of a tank they can injure themselves and break their backs

I have my 2 ft spotted gar with 2x 14'' koi right now!

nope, my gar is an old and lazy male!

I agree, you should grow it out first. Won't take very long to get 12" if fed regularly.

you should get you gar to grow to at least 10'' before keep it with any tank-mate other than gar! if keep with koi that bigger than him then he can't really compete with the koi for food and easily get scare to dead.
