Point me in the direction for the glass filter, where can I buy one?

x2 thanks ken.

Just going off the old and apparently outdated sticky in the DIY section.

Funny, I tried 2 1.5" drains in my pup tank and they failed to keep up with a Dart. Had to make one of them 2". Wonder why that was? Had plenty of head on the pump?

Maybe overflow boxes work different then gravity drains?

Guess what works for some fails for others. Story of fishkeeping, however it kind of hard to ignore what's right in front of you, seen with your own eyes.
Do you have strainer on your bulkhead?

Same issue here except I am using a Mag 24 and the overflow cant keep up with 2x 1.5" drains. Getting ready to add a second OF Box with 2 more 1.5" drains maybe then I can use the full gph of the pump.

Especially if you have a closed loop system what ever the pump is rated for pulling with 1.5 is what gets pulled like a reeflow hammerhead if is is set up to pull directly from the tank and it pump 5500 gph the input and pressure side are 1.5 so a single 1.5 drain directly in the tank hooked directly to a hammerhead will then have 5500 gallons per hour go through it because it is NOT relying on gravity But the pumps power to produce the flow!!!!!:naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty::grinno:
