I would only do a short body in a 55.ditch the bichir and get a nice FH. big kok, nice finnage, nice pearls, and a glass banger.
+1, With good filtration, lots of hiding places, and lots of WCs it should be fine.A JD is fine in a 55 with a bichir.
55 is BARE BARE minimum and your Oscar would not be happy as a Oscar in a 75.why not just get an oscar then? if you just have the one then im sure youd be fine so long as you dont have many decorations in there so they have room to swim, ive seen people keep 2 oscars together in a 55 and the seemed happy, just be weary of your heater and maybe even your tank being broken, oscars startle easily and when they do they dart into things and swim frantically, could cause damage. but dont think theres any major problems with keeping one with another fish so long as the other fish isnt as big as the oscar.
That is is a full stock...alright, i think im gonna stick with a jd and a bichir..
are bichirs good hunters when it comes to feeders?
and also what other fish will eat feeders that can fit permanently in a 55?
