I would get a few firemouths and 1-2 african cichlids. They grow slowly so it you wouldnt need to upgrade.

sorry didnt mean to post my last comment twice, i know that oscars need alot of space that why i have them in a 6 foot tank, just never sure of what gallons a tank can take.
