It's been awhile since I updated the crew... Most of the original stock has been sold the one and only one that is still with me is my Giant Blue Turq. He's just a little over 3 years old now and just shy of 7". I been trying to breed this guy for the last 2yrs with no success. He never took interest in any females that he's been with and he's been with quite a few 
. I even had a friend of mine put him in a tank with 8 female piwowarski Turqs with no interest...
For a awhile i was thinking it was a female!
Last spring a got a new group of 6"+ Blushing reds and some Altum Flora turqs. The Af's were suppose to be Males after a few weeks of QT the BR's decided to pair off so i introduced the AF into the turq tank 2 days latter BAMMMMO he hit it off with the suppose male that both turned out to be females.

The AF just layed last night and the Piwo male made runs too so lets see if the eggs will hold! She's been active in the last few month with laying but the male would never do his part so we'll see!
