I have a small 10g salt tank I want to start a Mini-Reef in. Right now I only have a 18" T8 8000K bulb and would like to upgrade so I can accomodate some high(er) light corals. The bulb I got now may support some common Mushrooms, but I don't want a tank full of Mushrooms. Anyone have any suggestions for a good reef capable light fixture for a 10g(20") tank?

Well my budget is pretty open, but with that being said, I don't have a grand to blow on lighting for a 10g lol. Sooo I would prefer to get a nice T5 or Reef Capable LED fixture for a reasonable price.

go for L.E.D you wont regret it,upgraded mine last year best investment ever

specific brand you recommend? I was going to do the Marineland Reef Capable LEDs, but people have said they're not worth it..?

These are the only lights I've actually taking an interest in since I started looking for some lights about a month ago :)

The problem I run into is finding a fixture that is my size. I have a 10g tank so I would like to get a 20" fixture that way it extends the entire length of the tank giving me the most light coverage possible. The first link has 24" or 12 1/2" fixtures, but the 24" is too long and I feel like the 12 1/2" wouldn't be enough unless I linked more fixtures. I have a while to get this together though. I am going to be building up my rock more before I do anything because the tank is pretty bare right now. I also want to add some copepods and what not just to assure I have adequate parameters for a mini-reef.

Well that's the point of those strips, You basically need more than 1 to have enough light.

Do you know if there is a max number of linked fixtures for those? I have seen other linkable fixtures advertise linking up to 3 fixtures. If I went with those LED strips I would like to have one of each spectrum available.
