If your litter is creating that much dust you really should get something else. Not only is that bad for you to breathe, your cat could start having some respitory problems and the dust will stick in thier fur creating a great place for mites and fleas. The damage it could do to your tank is minimal but will eventually cause issues. I would be more worried about myself and the cat. Get new litter, move the box and give your cat a bath.

If the dust coming from the litter is so bad that the environment is deemed uninhabitable. That you would suffocate and die if you stayed in the room. That your nose is bleeding and it weighs half a pound because its clogged with dust. And theirs more dust than air. Would this adversely affect my aquariums in any way?
The kid is so obviously making fun of a litter box, using over-the-top exaggerated illustrations.
I find it unbelievable that his final question didn't remove all doubt.

There is such a thing as valid seriousness, but dead serious gets almost scary.
Good grief, peoples! I Lol @the criticism more than the op.
