What kind of fish would you like to come out of the hybrid breeding? Randomly breeding two fish together is pointless. Best advice would be for you to ponder what you want as the end result, stuff like body size and shape, colors, fins and pearls. You can breed and then refine from there.
You cant control size and shape of any hybrid because the 2 different genes can mesh together in different ways so that not promised. I want a texas convict and i can make one but the male convict that i had was killed by a kamfa female that i returned soon as it killed my male. The texas female that i have loves convict males i think im going to put her in a 29gal by herself and find a male con for her.

He probably wants them? If it's what OP wants then I don't see a problem with OP creating them, for his own amusement.
im going for a jag dempsey now, jack male and female jag, not working to well so i bought a 240 and a male dovii and am going for jagxdovii mix hope you choose something and keep us posted.
Besides the male Jd, it's got a red devil, dovii, flower horn, female jd, and a green terror which is currently for sale in the marketplace section. I also have a 55 with a con and jag that are spawning.
Like dude why does it matter why i like texas convict? I breed ball pythons and leopard geckos for a living so i breed fish for fun and i will make stuff that i want im not doing this to please others because if thats what your doing then i cant imagine that your enjoying your self pleasing others.
