First off i know i need a male duh, second i asked a question if you dont have the answer or not going to answer my question dont comment.
I Know there are other options then convicts and i dont care about that, I do this for fun and those are the fish that i choose to work with. You breed what u want to breed and i breed what i want to breed if your not going to answer my question or have any answers to my question dont comment.

Dovii/Jag, Dempsey/Jag. I think both of those would be cool. I like the idea of combining warm color and cold color fish together to see how the colors blend. Yellow and green, orange and blue etc....

That sounds cool, i just seen a jack dempsey in my lfs and i think i will pick it up.
Of the more common fish you will find at your fish store I think Dempseys are my favorite. I keep a male and female and they are awesome. My male came from Petsmart 7 years ago. He's a beast now, runs the 220.
