Lake Tanganyika Biotype Aquarium. Many of the cichlids stay small and you have a nice long tank for them to set up their little territories.
 
You could make a sick shell dweller tank, or a native stream/river tank. You could also do a planted shrimp tank.
 
Those dimensions would be great for a hill stream tank. Set up a river tank manifold for some nice strong unidirectional current, throw in some big rocks for aquascaping, include some bright lighting to get algae growth and you would have an ideal setup for a collection of hillstream loaches and Stiphodon gobies. Lots of interesting behavior to observe.
 
school of tetras and some rams would look raelly nice
 
I would try single cutteri and some sd's...maybe another small cichlid depending on the cutteri
