Anyone have a tank with the same fish? I always thought it would be cool to have a lot of the same fish in a tank. I'm not talking about tetras or tiger barbs or fronts or any other basic type that multiple of the same fish is common. I'm talking about 30 senegal bichirs or a lot of those elephant nose fish or rokteil sevs or something. I'm not condoning getting 25 oscars into a 125, but I've always to see how they would react with each other.

I get into phases and right now I'm into acf's( african clawed frogs) and I have a 180. Going to get a male and breed my females and have like 20-50 in there. It'll be amazing to watch them all.

Anyone else feel like me about trying all of the same fish. Obviously CA/SA cichlids would pair up and probably try to kill the rest, but there's other fish out there.

Blood Parrots....you don't have to worry about them killing each other.

Its always impressive to see a large school of cardinal tetras, it is like a big colorful cloud. The other fish in a large school that is amazing to watch are bucktooth tetras, the way the swarm and zip around..... very cool.

Otherwise I dont really think I would own too many of the same type of fish, I think I would get bored.

I just filled a 250 with about 30 angels. Looks pretty cool. There are also some clown loaches and a single argentia. But for the most part it's all angels :headbang2

Juvies? Angels look awesome when they are adults. So big in heighth with their fins. Pics?
