bass won't eat ?

First off bassguy gave awesome advice,

Secondly, there is only one ph level, high ph and ph are just seperate test, the normal ph test kit can't test upper ranges so api made 2, one is high range. If you showed 7.6 on low range then that's your ph.

No reason why you should be reading ammonia, there is a possibility you have a mini cycle atm, if you tap reads nitrates then that explains it, cause that doesn't necessarily mean you have the bb that converts the toxins to n03! Id start with a 50% wc, make sure temp matches tank temp, lower your tank to 80-82, make sure tank, filters and sub are clean but leave bio media alone.

You have only had the fish for a month, some can take awhile to acclimate, not having stable params will make it even rougher on him.

Lower temp, clean, do a wc, and tomorrow evening offer some food.

i was asked to post my parametres so i did, and yes there seperate tests, i had to read you replys to understand what ya meant hahaha.... but when i did the WC yesterday i didnt vaccum under the rocks and decorations in th tank, and the sponges in the filter were cleaned 2 weeks ago or so ? hard to say but guess it wont hurt to clean the pads in it again.... but i dont think lowering my water temp is going to make much of a difference as he has been in the 84-86deg water every since i got him and the store kept him on the warmer side of things as well... and i added a dose of SAFE which is suppose to zero out any traces of ammonia/nitrates within 24hrs, should i leave it till 2morrow at 5pm and re test for ammonia again ? or do a WC tonight and check 2morrow even tho i did a dose of safe to detoxify the ammonia/nitrate i knwo it wont zero out my nitrates

copied right from the seachem site

To detoxify nitrite/nitrate in an emergency situation use up to 5 g (1 tsp.*) to each 400 L (100 gallons*). Use fish to gauge toxicity reduction as test kits will still show presence of nitrite/nitrate even when detoxified. May be added to aquarium directly, but is better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. If temperature is > 30 C (86 F) cut dosing in half.

EDIT : doh ! after re reading this i noticed it doesnt treat ammonia spikes lol... so maybe a WC is best to de-plead it then eh

A lot of waste gets trapped in the gravel. That could be the cause of the high ammonia.

Leave the temp as is. Do a wc tommorow and clean the gravel this time. I'd do a 30-40% this time. Then continue with ur regular schedule...but always clean under the gravel.

ya i kept staring at the tank while eating supper and dorve me nuts so i said eff it, i did 60-75% change and took everything out of the tank and vaccum'd all the gravel... usually i vaccum everythign and under the stones and such ut this week i didnt so it was defintly due was some crud under and in a fair amount of spots.... but i re checked the water temp with another guage i have and use in my big main tank and it said 88, so i dialed the heater back to 29deg rather then 30.5deg.... hopefully he will eat 2morrow, should i just leave him be till tmorrow night for a feeding ? or should i try in the morning ?

All though I'm still confused and boggled on what to feed him.... I walked by the tank after the WC and he was at the top when he wants to eat, so I tossed in a piece of shrimp and he bite and spit it out didn't want anything to do with it so what else can I do for him to eat ?
