I had this guy in a one 180 until he started sucking the slime off my bichirs and attacking my gar, other than that what species is he? I'd like to sell him soon and wana be informed when doing so lol

There is at least half a dozen if not more of big, drab-colored, inconspicuous synos in this huge genus. They are very hard to ID. You will need an expert with good syno books and likely far better photos. Sorry, I was of no help. I strongly suggest PlanetCatfish.
 
No worries :) yea I've checked planet catfish numerous times and they all look similar but not 100% and as u said there were about 6 different species lol just thought some one would come by on MFK that would be able to Id it

I'm no good at synos myself especially the ones that all look alike lol. some info that might help someone more in the know with synos could be what size he is, and various pics from various angles. Including pics from below which are generally very helpful. Pics from above as well. Size really helps if it is mature.
