So how did the info work out for you, how are your fish doing now? And how many did you lose?

Well almost all the ich is gone and they all are fine except one which I found sucked on the filter he swims around a little and has a red dot on his tail. And his eye Is a little cloudy. Should I empty the tank and put fresh water and put temp at 86

Well is the ich probably isn't completely gone.... You really should re read what everyone's saying....

Keep adding salt to water you put in after taking out water...


Keep the temp up to 86 for at least a week

Add a bubbler!!!!

Also make sure if you ever top off the tank from evaporation you do not add salt!!!! Only add salt if you physically pull water out of the aquarium

I emptied out the tank cleaned it good and filled it back up put temp at 86° and kept the 2 airstomes and will leave it that for a couple of weeks.

Just be careful... The last thing you want to do is stress them out more....
They are more than likely already stressed from the ich

So keeping temp at 86 for a few weeks is good. Then should I bring the temp down to 82 again.

Use non-iodine salt raise temp and avoid live feeding. It didn't happen over night. Did you add something new or are you live feeding? Raising the temp speeds up the cycle of cyst you need them to release from the fish and do some water changes. You have one of the easiest problems as far as sickness goes. After doing this the problem should Not increase. Pick a spot on your fish and do a cyst count and tomorrow you should see less.
