  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok thanks il keep temps up and do regular WC ( usually I do 10% WC every week). So just the warm temps will kill the ich I don't need to add salt.

Probably part of the reason why they got ick to begin with, 10% weekly waterchange is basically compensating for evaporation! Meaning this isn't really a wc at all!

Try 40-50% per week.

I'm very sorry for your loss, to avoid more losses, do as we are telling you over and over, raise the temperature to 86 or higher AND ADD THE SALT. 1 tbsp per 10 gallons is a decent ratio. I promise the salt won't hurt your fish if you use non iodized salt. I use the Epsom salt from the pharmacy area of Walmart. It's cheap and is literally the exact same as the expensive Aquarium salt. Every single one of my tanks has salt in it. Just do it.

Well is the ich probably isn't completely gone.... You really should re read what everyone's saying....
Keep adding salt to water you put in after taking out water...
Keep the temp up to 86 for at least a week. Add a bubbler!!!! Also make sure if you ever top off the tank from evaporation you do not add salt!!!! Only add salt if you physically pull water out of the aquarium
