Took those words out my mouth fishman, there body shape is exact IMO, nothing wrong with gmfishnuts pair!

The body shape is very similar as well as the red freckles on the top of the head. A great looking fish but definitely not as impressive as the blues/blacks/ gorrilus blues.

Thanks for showing. But why do we have to compare what's the better variant. I have a pair of mags and group of black umbees, however it's all preference as I stated before. This pair right here is amazing in my eyes and some others. I need some fry or whatever size of the greens. Plus I like green lol and this was an old pair imagine whats in the water now. That female with the green base and red freckles and the male with that beast profile and color. Real nice pair and I bet they get better then that. And that yellow gill plate is ridiculous with a freckled dome lol. I luv it

It is all preference. I just prefer all
the others over the green. But that doesn't mean I think you're dumb for really liking them. I would love a green pair but there are things that I would rather have in the huge tank the will require. I honestly would own every cichlid species if I could afford to house them!

I want a Umbee X Midas hybrid

Whoever likes the green umbees should select the best and line breed them. That's alot of work because of growth and agression while selecting the best.. Takes dedication with lots of tank and space for that Im sure.

Good looking fish is better than wild status fish anyway. It's all about the looks of the fish and its rarity. Wild fish money can buy. If there's a wild fish that looks better than a select line bred fish then wow; that would be a prize fish.
