I think $2 is to much for Reg BN. I paid $3.00ea for six 2" Albino BN

Depending on your area brown brisetlenose arent or shouldnt be over $5. Nice little guy though. Dont ever feel bad about "stealing" fish from lfs. Some people might disagree but its a. Their fault for not labeling thing and b. their fault for not being educated on the animals theyre selling. Ive gotten away with a lot of cheap fish over the years. Dont feel bad.

I apologize if you know this but it is not considered a good idea to put breather bags underwater since they don't work underwater and eventually the fish will suffocate. It looks like you were just acclimating them for a few minutes but I wouldn't leave them in much longer because they will run out of air since there is no air trapped in the bag like a normal bag.

Or you could just drip acclimate your fish and avoid this all together...
 
Here's my goldy, I got him for a steal at $30! His fins are a bit banged up but I put some fin replacement in. Unfortunatly yours in a bn, but still at $2 that's a good deal! There about $8 around here.
