Well, these won't be nearly as high quality or stunning as the photos Aquamojo (Mo) has been periodically posting of fish from Segrest Farms, but hopefully the subject makes up for it a bit ;)

The awe-inspiring Lince Catfish...in the flesh. We got these fish in late last week out of Peru...shipped in HUGE boxes. I mean HUGE. They were in 36x30 thick-walled styros with a wooden liner on the inside. For notoriously difficult shippers like these beasts you can't be too careful. Basically it was like shipping a freshwater version of a pelagic shark...serious business.

Thanks, there's a few more pics on our FB page (my sig). We have a couple left in our tanks still (if they're not already packed up) so if I get a chance I might snap a few more for posterity. They've actually colored up nicely and acclimated well. I don't think we'll have more of these monsters back in anytime soon.
